Mental Health Counselor - Limited Permit
Etta is a Mental Health Counselor-LP. She has experience working with adolescents and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship dynamics, traumatic backgrounds, body image and disordered eating. Using a strengths-based approach, Etta strives to honor the resilience and wisdom that is hard-earned along each person's individual journey.
Using ideas from narrative therapy, Etta guides her clients to understand the context in which their life story has unfolded, and how to take steps to empower themselves to make changes that will be long-lasting. She values a whole-person approach, considering the many factors and experiences that contribute to one's wellbeing.
Etta holds a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Touro University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University.
